Dusty Kelly is seeking re-election to the International Executive Committee of the American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada. She brings 25+ years of union labour relations experience, a track record of practical problem-solving, and a clear commitment to fairness, safety, and strong collective agreements.

As Executive Director of the Toronto Musicians' Association (Local 149), Dusty represents 2,900 members in one of North America's busiest and culturally diverse entertainment markets. She advocates for fair compensation, respectful working conditions, and the rights of professional musicians—experience she brings to her work as a member of the IEB.

Elected to the International Executive Committee at the 2023 AFM Convention, Dusty has focused on member education, strengthening member representation, and supporting locals as the industry grapples with new technologies. She previously served for over a decade as a trustee of the IATSE 891 Health Benefits Plan, and has held governance roles across labour, safety and arts organizations. Dusty believes in the power of collective action, building a more inclusive, sustainable creative industry. With a vision for constant improvement, she leads with empathy, clarity, and determination—Dusty is dedicated to building a stronger union for musicians across Canada and the US.
