Please remember, Progress is unable to create and distribute new handbooks to 300+ employees everytime there are policy / procedure changes. Thus, as discussed in this handbook and at your orientation the most current version is always available here on your employee website. Employees are expected to visit the site regularly to become aware of updates or changes to policy. If you prefer an actual print copy, please bring your old handbook to the HR department and we can exchange it for the latest version. As an employee, if you have a question about a Progress policy or procedure then the answer is probably at your fingertips in the Employee Handbook.

ALL ONLINE TRAINING
Effective July 2013 ALL ONLINE TRAINING for Progress Inc. staff is done using "RELIAS"!
The online training portal known to all of Progress employees since 2008 as "CDS" has gone away. The State of TN's DIDD has invested in a new product that is another online training portal called RELIAS. RELIAS has many new features and courses that will provide all Progress staff a broader,more effective, quality training experience.
In addition to the 4 MANDATORY ANNUAL REFRESHER CLASSES (Title VI, Osha, HIPPA and Emergency Preparedness) there are over 270 courses that you can "self-enroll" on almost any topic you can imagine. RELIAS updates their inventory of classes regularly.
All Progress staff will complete all their NEW HIRE and ANNUAL REFRESHER training using RELIAS. Start at the link below to complete your training.

The dates you see listed as "due" within RELIAS are not always representative of your last completion date.
Do you work for more than one agency? If so then click here for directions on how to link your multiple Relias accounts together where all your training is accessible from one location. This allows you to share your training between agencies where you only have to do the same class once.
URGENT PLEASE READ We have been informed by DIDD that payment we have already received can be recouped (taken back) for services provided by any DSP whose training has become out of date.This means for example, if you have let your FIRST AID/CPR or any annual refresher like TITLE VI expire and we let you work an additional two weeks before you went to class, DIDD can determine that those two weeks “don’t count” and not pay for the support that you provided during that time.This will apply to all training.This is not a Progress action, but a TennCare and DIDD decision. Consequently, starting today, you must keep all training in compliance…no excuses.If you become out of compliance, you will be taken off schedule until you are in compliance.This applies to all Direct Support Staff.The time your off schedule is without pay. Staff that continues to not keep their training current will also receive disciplinary action up to and including termination.
